Funding to Support Freelance & Self-Employed Artists & Creative Practitioners (Scotland)23rd August 2021

Grants of between £500 and £100,000 are available to support the creative development of individual practitioners working in the arts and creative industries in Scotland.

The Open Fund for Individuals will support creative activity such as a specific project, production or a period of research and development for up to 24 months. It can support an individual’s time where this is related to specific creative outcomes.

Creative Scotland is making around £5 million in funding available and this will be allocated evenly throughout the year.

Freelance and self-employed artists, writers, producers and other creative practitioners aged 18 years and over can submit their applications at any time.
