Funding for Community & Environmental Projects (London)4th October 2023

Charities and voluntary organisations working to improve communities and the environment in London can apply for grants of up to £20,000 per year for up to five years.

The types of activity that will be funded include:

  • environmental, greening and growing projects
  • working with older people
  • working with Deaf and Disabled people
  • working with the LGBTQIA+ community
  • working with migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers

The funding, which is made available through the City Bridge Foundation’s Small Grants Programme, will be awarded to organisations with an annual income of up to £200,000 and can be used to cover project and/or core funding.

The Foundation seeks to support community-led projects, and groups led by and for people with lived experience of the organisation’s area of work.

A grant cannot amount to more than 50% of an organisation’s turnover / income in any one year.

Applications can be made at any time.
