Grants to Help Vulnerable Communities Manage the Cost-of-Living Crisis (Scotland)25th January 2024

In response to the cost-of-living crisis, the National Lottery Community Fund is making funding available to voluntary or community organisations for projects that help support individuals, families and communities currently experiencing financial hardship.

Through the Cost-of-Living Support Fund, grants of between £20,001 and £75,000 will be awarded for activity that increases resilience and reduces the impact of, or prevents financial insecurity amongst vulnerable communities.

Examples of the types of projects that could be supported include:

  • money advice projects
  • mental health projects
  • projects bringing people together for activities under one roof
  • 'warm room' projects

The funding can be used to cover costs such as:

  • staff
  • training
  • volunteer expenses
  • equipment
  • premises costs
  • evaluation
  • overheads

An application form will be sent to eligible organisations.
