Funding to Help UK Hospices Build Career Pathways for Volunteers (UK) 30th April 2024

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to help UK hospices build career pathways for volunteers.

Hospice UK’s Volunteer to Career programme is a clinically led programme in which hospices recruit local volunteers considering a career in healthcare and train them for 60 hours of certificated training over the course of one year.

A dedicated Clinical Lead at each participating hospice will support volunteers throughout the year. The funding will contribute towards the cost of supporting clinical leads in undertaking this work.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Helpforce and the Rank Foundation.

Eligible organisations are independent hospices that are members of Hospice UK and are based in the UK, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands.

A total of £100,000 in funding is available.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 7th June 2024.

Hospice UK will run and Information Webinar 11:00-12:00 on the 15th May 2024.
